Locally-Led Marketing Collective
Comprised of about ~35 businesses around the Square and The Mill, the Downtown Lebanon group is a collaborative marketing and advocacy network. The group’s collected dues enable a shared website and social media presence to promote downtown events, specials, and happenings. Members meet quarterly to share updates and coordinate efforts.

Countywide Tourism Promotion
The Wilson County CVB is the lead agency for tourism promotion across the county. Their team works to attract visitors to local attractions, events, and businesses—including downtown Lebanon. They can assist with marketing opportunities, tourism-focused collaborations, and event promotion.

Historic Lebanon is a nonprofit dedicated to the preservation and revitalization of our historic downtown district. Historic Lebanon’s Mission is to preserve, enrich, and promote our historic downtown as the vibrant heart of our community. Through community event and business promotion, business training, signage advocacy, beautification initiatives, and a local grant program, Historic Lebanon serves as a cornerstone of the downtown business community.

Our Approach
Historic Lebanon uses the four points of the National Main Street program to present our Main Street District in its best light. We believe using this Main Street approach is the best way to achieve our mission of the revitalization of Lebanon’s Public Square and surrounding neighborhoods.
The four points of the National Main Street program are:
Organization Committee:
Strengthening partnerships with The City of Lebanon, The Lebanon/Wilson Chamber, The Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Downtown Lebanon Group
New Façade and Awning Grant Program for Downtown businesses
Design Committee:
Creation of new printable downtown maps
Installation of new wayfinding kiosks, signs, and historic plaques in downtown
Continued partnership with the City of Lebanon on possible streetscaping projects and improvements
Economic Vitality Committee:
Sponsor of new Main Street Business training programs
Upkeep of a downtown business online directory
Promotion Committee:
Social media, email, and print marketing campaigns to promote downtown and community events
