Support the Historic Lebanon Mission
Dear Friend,
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Historic Lebanon relies on donations to fund our programs and bring our mission to life: to preserve, enrich, and promote our historic downtown as the vibrant heart of our community. We are proud to be a nationally accredited member of the Tennessee Main Street Program.
Our work focuses on preserving historic buildings, boosting tourism, supporting downtown business owners, attracting new entrepreneurs, and creating a true sense of place in our historic core. We envision a vibrant district filled with restaurants, retail and office spaces, urban living, public art, and green spaces—all connected by a walkable downtown that links directly to the Music City Star commuter train station. These improvements not only create a welcoming gathering place for locals, but also draw visitors to experience the charm of historic Lebanon.
Historic Lebanon manages the local Tennessee Main Street program, which uses a proven four-point approach—Design, Organization, Promotion, and Economic Vitality—to strengthen downtown communities. Studies show that every $1 invested in a historic downtown generates a $36 return on investment.
This year our work includes strengthening partnerships with the City of Lebanon, the Lebanon Wilson Chamber of Commerce, the Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Downtown Lebanon Group; administering our Façade & Awning Grant Program; creating a new downtown map and business directory; installing new wayfinding kiosks, signage, and historic plaques; hosting business training programs; maintaining an online downtown business directory; and producing marketing campaigns, event calendars, and features to promote our local businesses and community events.
Your tax-deductible contribution—at any level—directly supports these programs and keeps your dollars working right here in our community, where they can create real and lasting change.
Won’t you make a gift today to help us preserve our past, enliven our present, and build our future?
Cordially,
Robyn Willis
