Rock the Block FAQ

What is Rock the Block?
Rock the Block is a free community concert series held on Downtown Lebanon’s Historic Square featuring live music, food trucks, shopping, and family-friendly activities.

When is the event?
Four consecutive Friday evenings: May 22, May 29, June 5, and June 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

What time do things start?
Food trucks begin serving at 5:00 PM. The concert and activities officially start at 6:00 PM.

What is the schedule of events?

  • 5:00 PM Food trucks open

  • 6:00 PM Event begins

  • 6:25 PM Welcome and announcements

  • 6:30 to 8:00 PM Live music

  • 8:00 PM Door prize drawing

Where should I park?
Parking is available:

  • On the Square

  • Large lot on the Square

  • Gay St and 231 lot

  • Wilson County Courthouse after 4:30 PM

  • Wellworth Bank

  • First Baptist Church

Is seating provided?
No. Limited cocktail tables will be available, but guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

What should I bring?
Bring a lawn chair, your friends and family, and enjoy the evening.

Is this event family friendly?
Yes, absolutely. Rock the Block is designed for all ages and will include activities like face painting and kids prizes.

What activities are planned?
Each night includes:

  • One live band

  • A free digital photo booth

  • Five food trucks

  • Kids activities and prizes

  • Shopping and dining with downtown retailers

  • Community connection

Where can I find the food truck lineup?
Food truck lineups will be announced weekly for each event date.

Where can I pick up Downtown Dollars?
Downtown Dollars can be picked up at the Historic Lebanon Main Street information tent.

How do I enter the Downtown Door Prize Drawing?
Visit the welcome table anytime between 5:30 PM and 7:45 PM to enter. Winners will be announced at 8:00 PM. Prizes include a $50 Downtown Gift Card and items from local businesses. You must be present to win.

Where are the restrooms?
A portable restroom will be located in the parking lot near Iddy and Oscar’s.

What happens if it rains?
In the event of cancellation due to weather, updates will be announced on our social media channels.

Are pets allowed?
Yes, friendly pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Outside food and non alcoholic beverages are allowed. Alcohol is not permitted.

Is the event ADA accessible?
Yes, the event is ADA accessible.

Can vendors or nonprofits participate?
Outside vendors and nonprofits are not permitted at this event.
