Meet the Bands
May 22:
Kendra Remedios
Kendra Remedios is a rising country artist based in Nashville, originally from Arlington, Texas. Blending Lone Star grit with southern rock and bluesy undertones, she delivers a distinctive, soulful take on contemporary country rooted in honest storytelling.
She gained early attention advancing to Hollywood Week on Seasons 11 and 12 of American Idol, with comparisons to Amy Winehouse and Adele. Her music explores love, loss, and self-discovery, including her deeply personal song “Daddy and Me,” written after her father’s passing.
Since moving to Nashville in 2022, Kendra has released multiple singles, built a strong presence in the local songwriting scene, and formed her band in 2023. Known for her raspy-smooth voice and energetic stage presence, she continues to gain momentum, including competing in The Voice: Battle of the Champions in 2026.
May 29:
Double Take Band
Double Take is a high-energy cover band delivering the ultimate party soundtrack—blending everything from southern country and rock to today’s hits. John Lankford is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. His best friend, Trent Rutledge, is the lead guitarist and vocalist. The rhythm section is Michael Burt on bass and Larry Campbell is on drums. With over 10 years of experience playing top venues across Middle Tennessee, the band brings a crowd-pleasing show that spans generations and genres.
June 5:
The Scarecrows
Formed in 2020 by singer-songwriters Cory Rowe, Willy Scruggs, and drummer Rocky Covington The Scarecrows have quickly carved out their place in the Red Dirt Alt-Americana Country scene. Built on strong lyrics, tight vocal harmonies, and an undeniable live energy, The Scarecrows have captivated audiences across the country, sharing stages with the likes of BlackBerry Smoke, Corey Smith, Ole 60, Keith Anderson, and Bucky Covington. Their ability to blend gritty authenticity with high-energy performances has made them a must-see act, resonating with die-hard country fans and rock enthusiasts alike. Their blend of 90s alternative and 90s country has left them somewhere between The Gin Blossoms and George Strait.
A true breath of fresh air in the Americana and Red Dirt music scene, The Scarecrows continue to break new ground, proving that truthful songs and honest performances never go out of style. You may come to a show without knowing the band, but will definitely leave a fan.
June 12:
Tall Paul + Kristie Bobal
With roots in Cleveland, OH, Virginia Beach, VA & Boone, NC, Tall Paul found himself in Nashville, TN, a city which is known for Country music but actually is a really good home base for musicians of any stripe, particularly American roots music like Jazz, Blues, Rock and country’s cousin, Bluegrass. Kristie’s roots are in Nashville itself, so it’s no surprise that she’d be at home making music which is as eclectic as her city.
The duo’s live shows have become something of legend across the southeast. They’ve shared stages of various sizes and are equally at home in honkytonks and bars as they are on festival stages. But for as great as their touring live show has been, the roots of these 2 songwriters happened when the pandemic shut 2020 down and forced Tall Paul & Kristie to reinvent themselves with weekly Facebook live shows. Shows which have grown their fan base as they showcased their talents worldwide.
